"Hi Chris, Just a note to say a big thank you to you and your son for providing the disco and also entertaining the children at our wedding on July 24th at Leziate Park.
All of our guests had a great night, especially the parents to all of the children who were engaged in balloon modelling and magic as well as dancing, and of course the limbo.
Myself and Andrew didn't get to see much of the magic show and balloon modelling as we were having photographs taken but I have had such fantastic feedback from friends and family saying how much the children enjoyed it, which meant they could relax for a bit while the children were entertained!
You played all of our favourite songs and fitted in perfectly with the band when they stopped for a break, so again thank you.
We really can't prasie you and your son enough, well worth the money, fantastic service and great with the kids.

Thank you so much you were absolutely fabulous at our wedding. It wasn’t just the children that enjoyed the magic show and bubble machine and everyone commented on how great you were. I am extremely pleased with the music you played and the attention you gave to our guests and will definitely contact you again I wouldn’t have any other DJ now!!

Organising childrens parties can be a daunting experience whatever their age.
| My name is Chris. I am the person you talk to when you call Abracadabra Disco and Magic. I will be undertaking your children’s party. This means you get a highly individualised service, you are familiar with the person attending your function [me] and I have a good understanding of what you envisage will make the perfect party. I cater for all aspects of the party except the food. |
Music, Games, Competitions, glow sticks, novelties and party bags if required.
From the moment the children arrive, I will be ready to give them a great time at the party they will remember.
You can have a Magic Show or a Junior Disco in a hall, social club, conservatory or outside (weather permitting). You can even have them both, which is more popular because children just love music, dancing, games and Magic. They get so excited catching the bubbles as they dance and get covered (not too much) by the snow machine. I supply all the prizes and arrange the games and competitions, so let me keep the children happy and enjoying the party while you relax.
4 to 6 years...?
A party of two hours will start with music and action songs for young children.
Games and competitions will be chosen from a very wide selection that includes the Musical Statues/Bumps, Coloured Squares and Stepping Stones, not forgetting the Limbo.
7 to 9 years...?
Once again I play action songs but for this age group it will be more advanced than for the younger ones.
Musical Statues is still popular as is the Coloured Squares game. The Cha Cha Slide and also the Twist competition may be organised to find the better dancers and I won't forget the Limbo.
Midway through the party is an ideal time for the children to have a break for food. Of course this can be arranged at a different time if required.
After the children have eaten and been led into the Happy Birthday song with the candles being blown out, I will ask them to sit for the Magic Show and not to interrupt by laughing (bet they will).
The birthday child or children will be asked to help with some Magic and awarded with a printed Magician’s Certificate with their name on for their assistance throughout the highly interactive party.
Party bags. You will not have to go shopping for items for your Party Bags. Just tell us how many Party Bags you require and leave it to us to provide them at the party. You only pay for the ones you use and I can supply standard party bags for £1.50 each or you may wish to budget and have the £1.00 range.
Children’s discos are not like adult discos and a good children’s disc jockey/entertainer is someone who has the expertise to do what it takes to keep the children happy throughout the party.
10 to 14..15...?
The music will be selected from the more modern chart material and I am always ready to accept requests. Cha Cha Slide, Macarena and chart music are popular for this group together with... you guessed it! The Limbo!

Chris entertained at my daughters 4th Birthday Party and everyone had a great time, both the children and the adults!! I had only good comments made about him at the end of the party. What was said by several parents was that Chris spoke nice and softly to the children so they were not afraid or frightened. Also, it was commented that Chris ACTUALLY entertained the children, whereas a lot of parties they had been to before they had found the entertainer just chatted to the kids, which was quite boring. Also, the kids loved the fact they all won prizes and no one went off empty handed, which makes all the kids feel good, and pleases the parents as their child is happy. Also, the disco music was not too loud and the kids loved running around and dancing. I will definately be using Chris for future parties.
Just thought I'd add, my mum has never seen a children's entertainer in action before and was really impressed (which is not an easy thing to do!). She said the magic tricks were perfect for the age group and the kids were mesmerized by you, which is a great thing to hear. Many thanks.
