Your wedding day has to be just as you want it to be because you will remember it for the rest of your life. You have both been planning your wedding for so long, the dress, the flowers, the location, the cake and the list goes on. The disco is often the last but when you think about it the disco provides the entertainment for the larger proportion of the day. Many people say they just want a disco and book a cheap one without considering the quality or professionalism of the DJ. Will the DJ discuss the music, sound and lighting you would like and even contact the venue management to discuss your wedding celebration arrangements with them. Often the bride and groom together with the guests who have had a wonderful day feel a bit let down in the evening when they celebrate the marriage, so don’t take a chance and book the cheapest disco but contact us and tell us what you want.
Abracadabra Disco is available for the evening and can arrive and set up early if required. You may wish the disco to be available for your ceremony with background music of your choice together with radio microphones. We can also play quiet relaxing background music which again can be your choice whilst you enjoy your wedding breakfast. We always carry radio microphones which can be used for speeches. A complete radio microphone with PA system is available if required throughout the day. Remember we do what you want so don’t be afraid to ask.

A wide choice of sound and lighting equipment is available and we will suggest the most suitable equipment for your wedding venue taking into consideration the size of the venue and the number of guests. If allowed to use them, we provide upon request, Haze (fine smoke) machine, Bubble machine, Snow machine and a Confetti Cannon.
The DJ will dress accordingly and we have a strict dress code. If you wish for your DJ to wear black tie and Tuxedo this will be done otherwise it will be white shirt and tie with black trousers and black shoes.
Health and safety is taken very seriously. We will always work with the venue management to ensure maximum health and safety.
With Equity, the Performers Union, we have £10m Public Liability Insurance certificate.
Portable Appliance Test (PAT) certificates are always carried.

All of our equipment is of a high quality and regularly checked to ensure it is fully working. We always have full backup equipment should there be any failure of main system.
Each and every booking is arranged on written contract for your peace of mind and we keep in regular contact to ensure we do what you want for your special day.

We are willing to meet and discuss your wedding day with you so you can tell us exactly what you require, so don’t be afraid to ask. You may wish to meet at your wedding venue so that we can also speak with the management.

 

Remember, the entertainment is for the celebration of your wedding and is remembered by most guests more than any other part of your Special Wedding Day.

Abracadabra disco can provide background music as guests arrive and also for the wedding breakfast. Professional Shure radio microphones are available to enable everyone to hear the speeches.

Before the evening celebration commences we can provide childrens entertainment and a Magic Show to keep the youngsters occupied if you wish.

 

Your wedding day is a special day and we will be in regular contact to ensure that we do what you want. With over 25 years experience providing discotheques at weddings we have an extensive music library but it will be your wedding and we will play music that you request together with the music that we know is popular at weddings. Have you considered requests to be played for your parents or grandparents, does somebody like to waltz? We like to know in advance what your special first dance will be and any other requests you may wish to make. You could even ask all your guests for a request when you send the invitations.

Our aim is to please you and your guests throughout the evening with a disco that does not play too loud or dazzle anyone with extra bright lights. As the music mood changes so does the mood of the lighting because you don’t want bright flashing lights when you dance so close together to the slow records.

Abracadabra disco is available for the evening or all of your special day. We can provide Confetti Cannons showering the Bride and Groom during the first dance……. for that unique photo opportunity.

A bubble machine can also be provided together with a haze (fine smoke machine) upon request, if the venue will allow us to use them.
